This year NKM will use a new program developed just for the snowmobile users. The main goal with this system (Software) is to make it more user friendly and allow the groomer operators to post trail groom sessions as they happen. There will be several people that will have the ability to update the trail status for there area. All these thing can be accessed with smart phones. For an example Plymouth may be out grooming The Old Plank Road Trail to cty S. When they reach the end of the trail they then can call the trails page on there smart phone enter their user name and password and type anything they want example (Plymouth Old Plank road trail has been groomed on 11/10/2011 be careful about water runoff at cty C crossing) then save their info and it is posted on the web site it's that easy. They may also go home and post the same thing using their computer.
Larry's job of opening and Closing now can be done any place in the world on a computer or smart phone. And no special training just a user name and password and fill in the box and save.
Club may also drawn in there own trails (with some training) and add pit stops. And the things we can do for the trail sponsors is amazing. We can add all kinds kinds advertizing

NEW FOR 2012
Club Members will be able to sign up to receive both & e-mail and text message then the open & closing condition have been updates. No need to call the hot line or go on line to check the status of the trail you will get first hand all the information you will need.
Club members will be offered a screen to sign up for these e-mails and tex messages. When they hit summit button and e-mail will be sent to there club secretary and code will be entered in and they will be approved and in the system. Non club members will not be allowed to use this system
